ASTON, Pa. – Aug. 27, 2026 – Tri-State Training and Safety Consulting and Tri-State Fire Protection have donated $10,000 to the Aston Athletic Association to support the purchase of a new scoreboard at the Butch Ryan Complex in Aston, Pennsylvania.
The new scoreboard will be used for football, softball, and other athletic events held at the complex. Aston Athletic Association serves families throughout Aston and surrounding communities by providing youth sports programs and opportunities for local athletes to compete, develop skills, and be part of a team.
For owner Kevin Kerns, the contribution has a personal connection. Kerns’ children participate in Aston Athletic Association programs, and he is actively involved with the organization as both a football coach and a board member.
“Being involved with Aston Athletic Association as a parent, coach, and board member, I’ve seen firsthand how important these programs are to the kids and families in our community,” Kerns said. “We wanted to find a meaningful way to give back and help support an organization that provides so many opportunities for young athletes. We’re proud to be able to contribute toward the new scoreboard and support the continued growth of the program.”
The contribution was made through two affiliated companies owned by Kerns: Tri-State Training and Safety Consulting and Tri-State Fire Protection.
